Kawatiri Bach is gently nestled on top of the sand dunes with views out to the west. Sit back and enjoy full immersion in the many moods of Cook Strait and capture the spirit of living by the sea. 

The approach to Kawatiri Bach Pass the vibrant cafes and shops of Raumati South on your approach to Kawatiri Bach, the tree lined crescent entices you into the cul de sac then continue up the grassy drive where the views slowly reveal themselves and work their magic. 

Kawatiri Bach is a comfortable 1970's bach with 2 bedrooms plus a sleepout/studio bach with everything you need for a wonderful holiday.

The garden dell on the street side of the house provides additional space to enjoy a garden lunch and games arena sheltered from the sea breezes and is soaked in sunshine.

Kawatiri Bach is a short stroll to the Raumati South cafes and shops. The beach is equally close. Queen Elizabeth park is easily found to the south and the rest of Kapiti awaits to the north. 

Porirua/Plimmerton is about a 30 minute drive by car, with Wellington being 50 minutes. Alternatively you can catch the train for breath-taking coastal views.

In the 1930's and 40's the whole local area was apparently known as Kawatiri. The old Kawatiri Guest House was once the focal point of this area and people would come for a break all year round. Kawatiri Bach hopes to further encourage this tradition.
